During this season of Mary Mary, Tina Campbell has revealed that her husband Teddy was unfaithful to her. Despite facing the challenge of a potentially broken relationship, Tina decided to let all of play out in front of the cameras for her healing [and all for our viewing pleasure].

Throughout the season we will have a chance to see what forgiveness looks like first hand. That’s right, Tina has decided to forgive her husband Teddy and reconcile their relationship. She has also gone on record admitting that she played a role in some of the issues that they had in their relationship.

So the question is, could you forgive and stay with your spouse if they cheated on you? According to the Bible you are not required too. Jesus is quoted as saying, “But I say to you that anyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of unchastity, causes her to commit adultery.” Jesus also states that we are to forgive “Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times (which in the first century looked upon as an unreachable number)”.
