Why You Shouldn’t Worry About Time So Much
Don't Worry About Time So Much
Are we in a rush to get things accomplished? Fighting time is a battle none of us will win in the long run. Knowing this I find myself rushing to get things accomplished. We want to hurry up and grow, or increase our (insert your thing here). I remember hearing a leader tell an individual they had plenty of time to figure out their career. I was baffled. No one wants to hear this. I myself thought I had beat time (or at least saved some time) in this instance by already figuring my career path out. Oddly enough, at 39, I find myself traveling down another road as it relates to my career. The leader was right. The really is no reason to rush things. When we rush or try to beat the hands of time we can hurt ourselves or those around us. We also must realize we have more time to get things done than we think. Rushing also leads to mistakes. When we make mistakes we may find ourselves even further off course than we would have if we had taken our time to figure things out or focus an the small steps in our journey. Here are 3 things to remember if you feel yourself rushing through life:1. Remain Flexible2. Remain Patient3. Eliminate distractions when working towards something. This will give you more time to work with.
