Maya Angelou Dies at 86 [blog/article]
Poet and civil rights activist Maya Angelou passed away at the age of 86 in Winston-Salem, NC. Along with being a writer and activist, Angelou was also a dancer, actress, educator and a film director. Over her lifetime she also received over 30 honorary degrees from universities across the globe. We’ve gathered a series of videos on Angelou which will give you more insight to who she was.
