It can work but like you both said boundaries must be set. Question to you: would your answer change to an automatic no if the friend was as an ex?

I agree that it can work with boundaries! Now, JC, I personally experienced the whole ex situation. My husband went ballistic w/o ever beginning with a discussion to the point of almost causing a divorce. The ex and I would speak via text or by phone, but never in person. So if married and both don’t agree for the sake of peace it’s best not too.
