Count Your Blessings
Are you counting your blessings or showing gratitude? I wasn't. My wife, Brooke, had to put things in perspective for me. We have been dealing with this maintenance issue with our condo. Every now and then when there is a major storm, we have some leaking issues. I can't lie, after years of it being "fixed" by maintenance I was pissed last night. For me, it messed up our whole worship time.As Brooke began to pray she expressed her thanks to God for the roof over our heads and the heat. She placed things in perspective. She was right. Despite the maintenance issues we are still extremely blessed. She was practicing gratitude. When you practice gratitude (by counting your blessings) it allows you to put things into perspective and it allows you to see how bless you really are.Take a look around. How are you blessed?
